2022/2023
A contemporary art exhibition featuring the work of artists, craft artisans, musicians, and cultural practitioners from throughout Borneo—Sarawak, Sabah, Kalimantan and Brunei—as well as West Malaysia, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
DALAM explored themes of the other, the interior, the seen and unseen, alongside the intersection between cultural and craft practices and creative expression.
The dalam and the alam that we create, expressed through audio-visual storytelling, woven craft installations, textile artforms, sculptural pieces and spatial documentation.

To better understand the decline in cultural and ecological diversity in the region, NTU CCA Singapore and Konnect ASEAN proposes to look at how the endangerment of traditional cultures and knowledges in the face of ecological challenges affects the region of Southeast Asia.
The conference aims to stimulate a debate between artists, designers, and architects, scientists, environmentalists, as well as local voices and policy makers.

The Workshop aims to promote indigenous cuisine and local food systems in Borneo.
The culinary workshop facilitated by ladies from Kg. Sibut, Temburong, followed by a lecture by Dr Merlin Franco, UBD on local food systems and sustainable resource management.

ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity is tapping into the power of the youth to tell stories from the field about biodiversity, its values, and the many ways to safeguard it.
Through its newest programme, the Young ASEAN Storytellers (YAS), the ACB is calling all ASEAN youth to showcase their skills and talents in storytelling as an essential part of the bid to highlight what life in harmony with nature would look like.
Twenty budding content creators and storytellers from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam will get first-hand experience in impactful storytelling for biodiversity conservation.

The recent pandemic has highlighted the stark digital divide between communities, which further translates into disadvantages related to education, access to information, and economic opportunities.
This YSEALI Connectivity regional workshop will provide a platform through which young leaders from across the region can come together, share strategies and best practices, and work together to narrow the digital divide across the region.

The YSEALI Academic Fellows Program brings undergraduates or recently graduated students from ASEAN Countries between the ages of 18 and 25 to the United States for a five-week institute held on the campus of a U.S. college or university.
